All old graphics were peeled and cleaned and all new teal and black graphics applied. The new black bimini top will be here this week and hopefully an aluminum tower will be in order next week. Opinions?

Here is the revised scheme and a mock up of the black bimini top. This is how the boat should look tomorrow.

I'll post up our boat pics soon. I've been sanding on it all day, we're about ready to start with the paint. We'll be painting it white to match the truck, and then doing candy effect blue for the second tone and then airbrushing some really cool graphics on there. I'll take a bunch of "in process" pics cause it's really cool to watch my cousin paint. I'll upload some pics later

You do know that painting a gelcoat wont last long and will start chipping and flaking, correct?

That's why we removed the gelcoat. Thanks for looking out though. ;)

Down to fiberglass, marine primer/sealant, base coat, and marine clear. (Which is pretty much a gel coat) We should be done tonight. I'll post pics

THIS THREAD STINKS.
Worse than the Mountain Biking thread? Surely not. Anyway, here is the finished product since the top came in today.

Looking good Chris. Ha, I was just gonna say something about the mountain biking section! :D
This section would die in the winter and we could turn it into the Snowboarders' section! ;D Who's buying my ticket to Tahoe this winter! ;)

Come up to the Smokies and the best I can get you is a couch to sleep on.

it's bad luck to re-name a boat

It was never named. Not to mention, I am not superstitious.

Chris, you know I love ya man! I just want a boat someday. I grew up on boats as a kid. I miss the good times. :'(

How bout I just shut the whole thing down, smart guy! >:( Huh? Huh?
I love boats. But we will keep this a wheels only forum. I have to replace a hydraulic line on our boat this afternoon. Took it out last week and the motor wouldnt lift out of the water. After looking we discovered one of the pressure lines is nylon, (which has a pin hole in it) Not smart but thats how it came from the factory.
