I remember seeing that vid. all he had to do is open the hood, smh
I don't think you'd see any of us janking on a line , w metal of any kind on it ,  like that ...or mud

I still think a tree strap is alright paired with soft shackles but the double run for tree wrap is good if you don't have one. ,

That video serves as a hard reminder to take recovery as seriously as possible, even though it may not seem like a big deal at the time.

I’ve gone through my recovery kit and made sure to minimize the number of connection points and keep the whole kit as light weight as possible. The less potential energy your setup has the safer it is.

Is it just me, or is anyone else going to try to tie their winch rope in a knot and make one of these.

His price is more like $495 or $525 if you want a custom color. I guess that's close to the same price, maybe even cheaper than buying a new rope and full recovery kit with all gadgets in it. Plus, you can get rid of a bag full of crap and free up a little space. @clark123456 buy one so we can check it out.

It's patent pending, you can't do that!

But, being serious, you probably could do it fairly easy. What about the hole in the line to wrap around a tree?

I think they're just splitting the braid.  Similar to what you do when you add your own eye loop...but I'm no expert!
