Opinion you ask, so shall you receive.  First glance and first feeling:
"Underrated" has a negative connotation, so it starts you off on the wrong vibe from the start.

Actually, doesn't "overrated" have the negative connotation?  Underrated is kinda like "underdog"..............right?  How is that negative? ???

Technically speaking you are correct, and I agree with your thinking, but at a first glance it just seems "under".  If folks were to analyze it, they would agree that's there should be more there than expected cause it's underrated, but the name comes across on the neg at first.

Something strong like "Kick Ass Off Road" is catchy and positive, or Max Off Road, Elite Off Road, Best Off Road, Doug's Off Road  ;D

I think it depends on what it is being used for. Like if it is going to be a sticker on a Jeep definitely a cool idea. As for as like a company or something I see both Doug’s point and Chris's point. At first it does seem a little negative but give some analyzing and see under as not poor but as a higher quality.

i see "underrated"  more along the lines of, less flash and more gas. kind of like, its not what you would expect to be a top dog, but is up there with the best. excellent choice chris. dont get rid of the "seal" before i get some. time to get away from cliche titles and names in the offroad community. "id rather be underrated than overrated!"

Its already been done by 478 Crips and the Get Money Click (atleast, thats what I gather from the grafitti). Well, I saw some Red spray-painted shoes hanging from a phone line today, I guess that means the bloods too.

Jimmy look all over macon for DTG they tagged 1 of our buildings costing us(ins) around 10000 to repair damages. DTG stands for Day Time Ghosts. Lame

Underrated-to rate or evaluate too low; underestimate.

I agree it seems neg at first. how about xrated?
