Well i haven't been able to test anything on my jeep since the long arms, 8.8, or 4.88's. I must say i am pleased with the performance even without the rear locker. I only took one pic sorry. It was just a local little place about like hurricane shoals. I just wanted to test it before river rock
In the pic the front tire dropped below the body line and i still have about 3 inches in the shock. The coil is completely unseated in the pic. The rear also stuffed nicly. I think that this will work for now.

looks good Alex and that thing flexes nice
-
Looks like shes workin! So does the rear touch? Is that full compression?
-
Great flex Alex. Looking forward to River Rock. {toast}
-
That's a great pic; investments at work...
-
very nice alex! I have always liked your rig. Its shows with the right planning and parts you can have plenty of flex, plenty of tire and not sit way off the ground.
-
Yea she rubs in the back just a little. I didn't cut enough :-X My rear springs are so screwed up but i dont care. I have to relocate the rear spring perches in the near future.
-
Can't wait to see it in action!

Check the projects section and look for his build and you'll see it

When i pushed the axle back 3 inches, i didnt move the spring perch. It is at a very extreme angle haha. I will more than likly loss a coil or to on the trail next weekend.

Hopefully I don't fall in a mud pit this time!

HAHA i forgot about that. We have to go on that trail first...what day and time are yall getting there on Friday? Anyone have an extra sleeping bag?
-
Looks good.
-
So, do you have an estimate that it cost you for the long arms.
-
Hope you don't pop the spring out all day! That thing must be seriously out of whack!!

Matt i would say
130 for 24 feet of 2x2x.250 wall square tubing
i already had the joints but they run $35 each so 7 of them.
Re sleeve bushings. 6 of them for $8 each.
Already had 6 stock lower control arm bushings so free.
My and a friend made all the brackets for $80. Can all be bought for under 200 easily.
So it can be done under $500 if you can come up with a design yourself it is easy. I just studied everyone's suspension and went from there.

I can get you that 2 x 2 x 1/4 x 24 for $110.
If you can use 3/16 I can get it for $85.
Also I can cut it to length for you, just give me sizes. I can do that free of charge. ;)
Give me a a couple days notice and I can have it ready. Anything under 10' I'll put in the back of my truck. Just would need to know where to meet you after that.

Sure looks like an opportunity to mass produce a few long arm sets for TJ's with 4" lift. There must be a dozen guys that would be interested, at least in a rear set.
-
Got one here! I am all in!
-
Just remember me come springtime when I'm trying to find a lift kit, wheels, and tires! {toast}
