Title: Hummingbird Festival - Oct. 18-19 (Hogansville, GA)
Post by: Will on October 13, 2008, 10:52:08 PM
Just in case anyone is bored this weekend...

"October 18 -October 19, 2008     Hummingbird Festival
Hogansville, Georgia

Arts & Crafts, Demonstrating Art, Art Competition, Antiques, Great Food, Children's Games & Rides, Entertainment
Estimated attendees-16000    706-637-9497"

Anyways, I'm posting this cause a friend of the family is in charge of the music all day and his band is really good. My little sister and I will also be playing guitar and singing for a couple of hours during the day on Saturday. Just a small town get together with good food, cool artwork and good music. I'll mostly just be playing country and classic rock stuff, Ben Harper, George Jones, Zach Brown, Brad Paisley, Garth Brooks.... that sort of stuff. And My little sister is a badass. She was the only student from Troup County to make Allstate chorus last year, and she can play the heck out of a guitar too. Just thought I'd post cause I didn't know of any rides this weekend.

That's funny 'cause I could've sworn that Will was the one singing Shania.  Chris and I were just throwing requests out there.  Not sure how you fellas got all that twisted up...  ;)

Well we went, Will can actually sing and pick!!!!!!! His sister is very good also. Had a good time, sorry I couldn't hang out and BS after you sang but we had a birthday party back on this side of town to get to.

A little bragging here but did you notice my cute little grandboy jammin, he loves music.

You should bring your guitar to Dougs and entertain everyone.

Good Job man.

Will is your dad a fireman? I had a booth at the Humminbird and I know the girl picking and singing is the daughter of a Troup Co. Fire Department. I had a booth just across from the parking lot from the quilt shop and heard ya'll singing and playing. Chris

No he's not. My sister and I were only a couple of the performers. We played from 1-2 and 3-4 PM. There was another younger girl there.
