Can someone give me info on swapping out the t-case on a 2002 Grand Cherokee. I need to know which case to install and what all I need to change to make it 2/4 selectable. Thanks in advance Richard

Ben H. will know. But, I think you can use any newer 231 or 242 t-case with the 23 spline input.

You will need a 242 from another WJ. No other Jeep transfer case will work besides maybe the one from a JK. You can get a 242HD that was found in I think 02-03 V8 WJs but I'm not sure. What you need to do though is talk to Seth (red99wj) he did this swap before his Jeep got totaled.
