3 weeks ago too.  I used the links I posted to print an absentee ballot request, filled it out, and mailed it from the office.  It came to the house, took 5 mins to complete, and was back in the mail  the next day.

I voted absentee last week. One of my co-workers told me today that while his wife was voting she heard one black lady say "a black president is going to be great, I won't have to pay for gas or my house note anymore". And, when you don't think it can get dumber, the woman in front of her had to leave because she forget the name of the person she was supposed to vote for.

One of Beth's friends that lives on campus said she heard a bunch of gun shots. Way to go. The uneducated, uninformed, and unemployeed just decided the fate of the United States.

just have to wait and see.. if he gets his laws passed then i will move... and i will take my guns with me..

also if not all the votes have been counted how can anyone say they won... the electoral vote should go with the peoples vote right??? so if a state that hasnt posted but 8% of the vote how can anyone say they won that state... what happens if i wake up in the morning to find out that Iowa electoral vote goes to obama and the people's vote goes to MCcain wouldnt that change the electoral vote???

This sadly is not how it works. It is suppose to go like that but in our history we have had 3 presidents elected that did NOT win the popular vote but DID win the electoral vote... Kinda kills the idea “every vote counts”. Not to mention, no telling how many states gave the electoral vote to the unpopular candidate in their state throughout history.

With the whiney liberals controlling every branch of government now, who are they going to blame now when they screw up? Maybe now the bleeding hearts will realize that a democrat is just as bad as a republican. The two party system sucks and maybe now people will wake up.

That's one of the reasons I did not stay up to watch the elections last night, I got so tired of hearing them talk how about many whites were voting and how many blacks were voting blah, blah, blah. The media sucks!

The thing people need to realize is that Big O does not care about blacks nor does he care about whites.  The only person he cares about is himself.  He will say and do anything to get elected and his record will show that.  Besides that he is neither black nor white..  He is both..

Its not a race thing for me, I dont want him in there for one simple fact, its the fact that he is a socialist. All politicians are liars, anyways.

You are absolutely right Matt.  It is not a race issue.  The media has made it a race issue. I personally did not vote based on color.  I voted on the issues. i could care less if he was dancing bear.  I believe in small government and the peoples rights.  We all have rights and not priviledges.  There are those who think they are priviledged.  Big O has already began to back up on his campaign promises.  He is saying now that all he promised might not be accomplished in the first year or even the first term.  It may take a while.  It will all come out in the wash in the next 4 years.  Big  O thinks that the under-priviledged should be priviledged.  I believe that those who do not work do not eat.  I work hard and I try to play hard.  Next election should be a good one also if we make it that far..  There are so many things that could be said but I agree with Thumper, "If you can't say somethin nice then you shouldn't say nutin at all." :-X
