My dad and uncles have told me of countless times they have seen cougars and black panthers around LaGrange when they were younger and my dad recently spotted one on his way home from work a few weeks ago. I have never seen one, but my dad sent me this article today. Pretty cool huh? But I have to say that I don't support shooting these guys. I want to actually see them one day >:( My uncle has seen a black one while hunting and he let him go and I really respect him for that.

Will, I am with you on the non killing of them. They are a beautiful animal and hate to see them like that. I have yet to see any cats like that in my life!

I have seen a few running away at my grandparents in Mississippi... beautiful, graceful animal... that could eat you... I vote not to shoot either unless they become a threat then you have no choice but then again we gave them no choice where to live and hunt when we decided to build everywhere….

I am about not killing them too. I am going to put one in the back of the Jeep to improve my driving skills.

Thought this pertained to hot older chics looking for jeepers. Like stifflers' mom!! I guess the other thing to ask has anyone ever heard one :o Yell or scream out? Scary sheeat! Will, I still think it would make a good wall cover. Just me. Of Tracy thinks your cute. sorry but i think i would have to shoot it... something that big will die if it comes across me.. not going to let it go so it can kill some kid that lives a mile or so away... they have huntin grounds almost 5 miles square.. that is alot of ground..
yes we build everywhere but still... DNR should be out and tranquilize them and move them else where... back home they brought them in... cows died pigs died.. someone finally got to shoot one with a DNR tag on its ear.. DNR was in deep shitttt cause they never told anyone in the area that they were bringing them in...

Hey Richard, that's not a bad idea at all. I'll see what I can do. Maybe in the spring when it's warmer I can do a recovery video with ladies in bikinis doing the dialog... would you guys watch that? You wouldn't learn sh** about recovery techniques :D

I will donate my time and Jeep to give you something to recover!
And yeah when they "scream" it does sound freaky. I have never heard it but an old wife's tail says they can mimic certain noises. My dad tells a story of his grandmother in the NC mountains when she was little being chased home by a Panther or Cougar (Cant remember which one) but apparently the noise it made sounded just like my great grandmother's mom calling her name to come home.
