We moved offices over the weekend to be closer to corporate. Well I cut my commute in half... I use to drive a little over 5 miles round trip and yesterday I clocked it at 2.3 miles round trip from parking space to parking space at the new office. Door to door is probably shorter since I do park in the back of the apartment and work parking lot.
Just thought I would share
;D

Your right...I hate you ~>}
-
i drive 2miles door to door...
-
I don't know what to say. Just building my post count so I can be put in for those Dana 60 thye are giving away.
-
I got you beat, 1.25 miles. ;)
-
Guess once it gets a little warmer and i am a litte more in shape I can have meg drop me off in the moring (on her way to work) and I can just carry workout clothes and run home. It would be about 1.2 mile run with a backpack with my work clothes in it and only 1 serious hill to tackle.
-
hell just walk to work and then run home... dont let the weather be the cause of not working out
-
Good call!
-
i come up with a few sometimes.....
-
Well BigJerm, now that your so close to work how about some 4:88's?
-
I get to drive a company truck to work and home and all over town. ;D Don't even look at anything but the gas guage when I need to fill 'er up on the company dime! :D
-
I get a monthly car allowance. It makes the Jeep payment and the insurance, but not the gas. But, I'm not complaining ;D
-
My "commute" is at most, 0.9 miles from my house. 1.6 miles from one end of campus to the other. But those are by road, not by walking. And that campus hike I have to make is by the bus too.
-
I get a monthly vehicle allowance that pays for the taco and insurance PLUS I have a company issue QT card for gas! ;D
-
Mine is 30 miles but it's not that bad. Interstate all the way
-
I hope that when I get a full-time job, I'm driving someone elses truck and not my own! However, with good gas mileage, that 58.5 c/mi can put a good amount of cash in your pocket.
-
I drive 35 miles each way.
-
25 miles round trip. 14 miles of that is mountain and it is great in the spring/summer/fall.

I would kill myself on that thing.

I am currently unemployed, so my commute is only 0.0 miles a day.
-

Busa's are made for folks like me. 10.02 @ 144 mph in the 1/4 mile. :) Oh and I have put 8k miles on it since I bought it new. Heck I road it from Dalton Ga to Gulf Shores AL this past summer.
BTW The wife will not let me get very much seat time without her on the back of it. :o

How is the busa in the mountains? I know they are fast going straight but are they pigs in the corners or does it handle pretty good? I haven't seen very many busa's in the mountains but I do see a LOT of them down town on Thursday nights. ;)

They dont handle as well as a shorter sport bike but they still handle well enough.
