				Has anyone seen this.

Pretty cheap compared to a brute, but this of course doesnt include any kind of Highline kit.

Would be cool for an LJ.

that's so fuuny I was just looking at those on jeep forum

-
They look neat, but I think they would look better without the handles on the side of the top or hump on the roof of the top. Any pictures with the top off?

-
That is pretty sweet!  There is a pic w/ the top off in the gallery.  The Brute is still the shiznit though!

				7. Can I build a RubiTrux myself?
You can purchase the parts to convert your Wrangler Unlimited to a RubiTrux yourself. The basic package, which includes the top and the bulkhead is $1850. This does not include the Line-X spray-in bedliner. Some modification is necessary, including cutting the rollbars, to fit the top.

I need to find one of these wrecked.

i dont see why jeep cant just make something like that from the factory. you can buy toyotas like that in the land cruiser line as a 2 seater pickup, 4 door, troopcarrier and so on. just seems they are missing out on something that would sell but they again they are asking for a bailout because they are stupid and missing the market.....

-
				Oh daddy likes! Now like Larry said, fins a totaled Jeep and make the transfer. {letseat}

-
$1850. sounds alot better than $9000, plus I could still get some tube fenders and not be anywhere close.

You know, as long as you don't want the hardtop, this wouldn't be that hard to make yourself. Just take out the rear seat, cut out the roll cage, fill in all the holes, and fabricate yourself a way to in close the cab where it goes to the back seat. Then, just get a bikini top (I think that is what they are called, the ones that cover just the seats and thats it) and there you go.

If you can 'glass and find a damaged hard top for cheap, you could probably make a half hard top pretty easily.
-
Shoot, just buy yourself a 150 half top like i did.  Best top i have ever had.

Alex, what kind of top is that?

-
The problem with the Rubitrux is that they look stupid on a standard tj. It would be cool if you have an unlimited though.

-
Exactly like what Alex has. Just cut the cage, do that kind of top, and find a way to finish enclosing the cab. Just make sure that it is a way to make it a truly useful bed and you don't keep on ripping the top.

Look on ebay for a jeep half top.
