Is it snowing bad there? My wife is flying in from Dallas and has to connect in Atlanta. Airtran cancelled her flights for this evening but did reschedule them for an earlier flight. Hopefully she doesn't get stuck there!!

A Noreaster!!  WTF!  LaGrange gets it first, then Macon, and it moves NE.  Weird.

It's 12:20 and there are snow flakes mixed in a pouring rain in Gwinnett/Hamilton Mill. Weird again.

Global cooling.

Well the last Airtran flight out from Dallas to Atlanta was put on a 2 hour delay. So I had to buy my wife a ticket from American Airlines so that she can get home and do laundry and cook dinner ;D

Sheriff blocked the road while Madison and I pulled 2 out of ditches and helped many more up hills on the state hwy north of Winder.  Most snow I saw there as anywhere.  Road 4"'s deep.

2wd trucks couldn't make it up the hills, and front wheels drive cars were cutting around them.   :D

guess the east side got more... here is Smyrna we have not see snow in a few hours and now we have 20 mph wind gust that are starting to dry things up... up in the air if the roads will dry before freezing.

It was BAD between Lagrange and Greenville. I pulled a Tacoma and an Accord out of the ditch and bck onto the road. The lady in the Accord gave me 5 dolla  ;D

It was a blizzard the whole way to school.... that being said, there is not a single patch of white n the city of Milledgeville   :bs)

I loaded up the kids this morning and headed for Blood Mountain and into Hiawassee to see some good snow but there was none.   It was a nice drive with a few snow drops but not anything to write home about.  Then as we got close to Gainsville............. WOW!!!    So mush snow!!!  A six hour drive in search of some snow and we could have just stayed home..   The 'ol 1997 Cherokee with her 31" BFG AT's and 4" of life was all we needed to get home safe...

I hope everyone enjoyed the day as much a my family did...

   Thanks Albert  {salute}

We got about 2 or 3 inches in Clemson.  I got to pull a few out.  I don't see why people try and drive in a 2wd vehical when the weather is like it is.

I pulled the winch twice. Had to winch my bradford pear tree down. Came back from a drive and half the tree was down, over 2 main sections were leaning towards the house, so out came the winch! Then this morning I helped some army reserv guys out of the mcdonalds parking lot. Man, I love my winch... and my lockers! ;D

Had a good snow fall at my house in Loganville. I went wheeling a little in Lithonia, but there wasn't as much snow there. Here are a few pics.

I wanted to come play but we were playing the wait game with the airport ... Megan's sister was flying out on flight 408... it kept getting delayed and the around oh say 6 the website said delayed until 4:40  {ehm} so we start calling and they had no clue where the plane was! In the air, on the ground, cancelled... not a clue and flight 408 was showing up at Baltimore to Maine instead of Atlanta to Baltimore. But we got it all sorted out finally.

It snowed pretty good in the Gainesville/Oakwood/Branch area.  I spent the day cooped up recording, but in between sessions I'd peek out the door and as far back as I can remember, those were the biggest snow flakes I've ever seen.  I didn't get to play in it though...

I tried to get out of my meeting at the airport, I was going to call you if I did Mike.Didn't work, my boss said there were enough 4X4's at our house that one of them would make it to work. Looks like everyone had fun, we did ride for a while and went and played in the snow with the Grandkids.

That's why you need a 2wd beater to drive to work and/or school... atleast that's how I justify owning a vehicle with more rust than paint. :D

Lots of folks going crazy over the "storm" here in Warner Robins... closed schools down, people called in for work, people would stay in whatever store they were in to "wait it out"...

It stuck to the grass - a little, but melted as soon as it hit the road, or the windsheild. Being from NY, it was hardly "snow" and quite humorous to see the way people reacted to it - tho neat to see when I wasn't expecting it.

People were actually freaking out over this stuff...

Definitely not "freak out" worthy, but, you gotta keep in mind it hasn't snowed here in 10 years. I didn't want to be on the roads too much because no one around here knows how to drive in the snow.
