Title: What kind of cellphone?

Well my old Samsung Muse has died and left this world behind.

I am now needing a new phone. I've seen a phone made by Verizon. It is ruggidized. I am rough with my phone and I also go in rough places (weather,etc). Here is the phone I am looking at:http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/controller?item=phoneFirst&action=viewPhoneDetail&selectedPhoneId=4330

Problem is, is that when I tell them my ZIP....they say I am under the Alltel Network area and that I should buy from them. Though Verizon has a tower down the highway in the next town.

I also prefer a prepaid account but what would be better? Month or prepaid? Any phone ideas?

I have that cell phone right now and I love it. Not too big, good display, and has some really cool features like a built-in flash light, electronic compass, battery lock, and its water proof.

Has it fell apart like most people say?

I have had it about 3 weeks so far and it's still in one piece. And I haven't tried texting underwater.

chcek your account and see when you come under the verizon conversion... otherwise, you can call and complain, tell em your phone dumped and since youre gonna be a verizon customer anyway... see if they switch you.  i was gonna do it.. but um....

You know what? Yer not far from where I live. Big old Ray City.

Man, I love the Catfish house there.
