It should be a LP D60 front with King Pins and a 14 bolt rear. And it should be a 6.2L. But because its military, I'm not a 100% sure.

Yea, its a passenger drop.

Chevy went to driver side drop during 88-92, depending on the model (1500/2500/3500/Blazer/Suburban), but that was with IFS.

What they used before 78 or so, I'm not sure which side they used.

Before 73 GM used "Napco" passenger side drop with a "divorced"transfer.73 thru87 they used passenger side drops.

I believe the blazers (m1009) just had 10 bolt axles.  It was the M1008s (1 1/4 ton trucks) that had the 60.  the blazers where considered 3/4 ton trucks.

let me go and look at it again I will get the data plate info... also there is a pick-up truck there too...

if you want the axles you get the whole truck... price is 400 for the whole thing... that is if I can talk the wife into letting me buy it in hopes of selling it... those that want them let me know for sure that you can pay... they have a few of them here on post and since there is only a few of you that want the axles i should (Should) be able to hook all of you up..

Remember you get the truck as well.. if they would let me go in and take just the axles I would... look at it this way you get a nice engine as a bonus

 That will have a 10b and 12b.  Only the trucks had the ton axles.    NONE of the military Blazers had ton axles under them.

no, as me and P said they are chevy 10 bolt axles.  how many lugs are on each axle.  most 3/4 tons only have  6.  I believe the military blazers are the same.

the trucks are the axles you want.  the trucks have the 14 bolt rear with the detriot and a dana 60 front (some are limited slip) and they have 4.56 gears.

 Nope,  they are all diesel so they can all fuel together with tanks and all the other equipment the military use's .   Its the universal fuel of the US Armed Forces  {salute}

ALL military Blazer's are 1/2tons.    Only the CUCV trucks have the ton stuff  ( military rated them 1 1/4T actually. )

when the Army sells them that cant be in runnin.. they kinda jack them up so that way if someone buys them and drives them off post and lets say the brakes fail... most people would sue the Military for selling a truck that has no brakes,,, this way you have to fix them up and spend alot of money and time to get it running.. now the axles and trans are fine... the engine will have something missing.. nothing big but just a pain to fix...
Dont listen to Glen he is just upset that there is nothing for him... not true... by the way anyone need a Tool Chest?? Warren Robbins has like a ton of them.. I am trying to figure out all the details in buying this stuff.. Here they have a few trucks and a ton of gym equipment.. since the gym here just got all new stuff...  I am going to talk to the guy that runs the yard here and see just what I have to do... like I said I shall have an answer by this weekend..
