Title: Alpine CDA-9884 CD Player with integrated iPod control
Post by: Jimmy on July 04, 2009, 12:52:15 PM
I have this in the Jeep, and don't really need an aftermarket stereo (I really only listen to XM in it), especially since it is sitting on jackstands right now. It includes the wiring harnesses for a '99 XJ (may work in TJs too, not sure), cage, filler panel, iPod cable, original packaging, etc.

I only plugged an Ipod into it once or twice but its pretty cool, you actually control the iPod from the head unit so you can keep the Ipod tooked away in the glove box or center console.

I'll get some pictures later, it looks almost new, but this is the info on it from Crutchfield: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500CDA9884/Alpine-CDA-9884.html?search=cda9884&tp=5684

I think it was originally $275-$300 plus the harnesses, cage, etc. I'll take $175 OBO shipped. Will take partial trade on stock radio if its a good deal.

jimmy, that harness adapter will work for pretty much any chrysler product that used that rectangular 1.5din radio style. i have a similar alpine with the same i-pod feature and its awesome.

also, i have the stock cd player out of my tj still. let me know if you want it.

Took the radio out and got some pictures today. There are some light scratches on the faceplate (from adjusting the volume and putting in/taking out of the storage case) but that is it. I still even have the warranty/installation info from Circuit City on 1/22/08 (not that its worth anything anymore, lol). The Ipod cable is 7 or 8 feet long so you could run it pretty much anywhere you want.
