Post by: ghostdancer308 on October 21, 2009, 08:51:36 PM
Any plumbers out there? Got a question. Give me a call at 770-856-6107. MikeD, just because there is a ballcock involved doesn't mean I need your input! ;D

Hahah!! Richard, I replaced all components in my neighbors toilet. Still having flush issues. Water flushes, fills up than water level sinks way low. I did the adjustments, but I think it might be something else. Hard to explain.

Plumbing the neighbors dumper?   {hardlaugh}

No water on the floor?  Has to be leaking into the bowl.  Cracked tank around the dump flap bolts?

No leaks. Just water force on flushing is weak. Solid waste won't go down. Maybe sediment build up on ring water ports. {ehm} Douching it today.

I have one doing that & somewhat better with some drain-O.
Leads me to think I need to clean those pipes with a snake.

I've become somewhat of a expert at plumbing; Most everything in my home had plumbing issues whenever we got it.

Was it loose at the floor?  Wax gasket can get flattened and block some flow, but I'd lift it and make sure everything is clear.  Not on septic is she?  And this is the lowest toilet?  They will flush slow if the septic is full.  Lots of ground water lately.

Def not the septic.

Have you flushing a lot of condoms down this toilet, uh I mean has anyone been flushing any non-degradable's down this toilet?

Sorry it took so long to reply. Its more tan likely the bowl not holding enough water some toilets leak down. If the water is slow going down go buy a toilet snake (20) and work it around. I pulled a bar of soap from a toilet about three months ago. :o
