Title: Christmas Eve Mud Bog
Post by: DUCE on December 12, 2009, 06:20:23 PM
There is a big mud run in Paulding County on Christmas Eve. I've gone every year. If you like mud, you should come on out.

If you need directions, I can send them to you.

I'm not much of a mud guy, but if I get my hunk of junk running by then like I plan, I'll go and watch.

I hate cleaning mud off the Jeep! I really don't want to clean it off on the 24th or 25th.
I could do it later, but it bugs me to no end when it's filthy like that.
It's not just about it being dirty, but I have to wear nice clothes to work & it'll always end up on my suit pants.
I might go up there & watch.

I really doubt there's anyone in this forum who would actually participate.  Apparently you could pull some spectators.

What can I say... I love a good train wreck. No matter how bad it's going to be I can't look away.

Well I've got a camera and it's 15 min from my house. There isn't much of this train wreck I'll miss. Especially as hack fab as some of the rigs around here are.

Just got back from this... It was fairly fun, I can see why Will likes mud, other than the fact that he's 8==D

Yeah, I went in a few times. It had been so long since I had wheeled, I was ready for anything even if it was mud.

Nice pictures. Only truck I recognize is that huge Suburban. I'm pretty sure it belongs to an offroad shop off Hwy. 278 near the Tractor Supply.

East Hiram 4x4? I think they had a few rigs out there.

The only trucks I was really impressed with were the white chevy on tractor tires and the S-10 I have the close up pics of. The whit Chevy supposedly had a $20G engine in it, when ever he was running it reminded me of the super late models at Rome speedway. As for the S-10 I liked the way it was setup, but I'm not sure about the front suspension.

Btw, I just remembered why I hate mud. It will take 2 or 3 washes to clean it all off.

East Hiram might be it. Not sure, will have to ask my brother. They put the lift on his truck.
