Title: Amicalola/Anderson Creek Trails - Where at exactly? Details?
Post by: mdywglr4x4 on January 04, 2010, 12:46:39 PM
So I was searching for where I can take the Jeep I get and it appears that while these are pretty easy it would get me back into the off-roading game. Will have to 'relearn' since the past years have been spent tying to get my car as fast as possible around tracks like Road Atlanta.

I found this post:

And then found this:

Where exactly is this place if I would be heading North on GA400? Or is that not the fastest way to get there? I am off exit 11 on GA400. Closer to exit 12 really. I know the fun roads to drive cars on but have never seen these other roads/trails. They don't look hard or difficult unless it was really wet but still fun to go with a friend and get back into the swing of things. Review of the trails? Fun factor?

Thanks guys!

It never re-opened and was closed for good.

Really? Well I didn't find that information online :(

Someplace similar? Details on that? I am in North GA so that would be best.

There are a lot of forest roads in the area.  Here's a general location map.  Google won't let me draw through the forestry roads for some reason.
