get the flying heck outta here 600 bucks for a RC??? screw that.... I can get 2 winches for that.. or some cheap beadlocks or cheap tires or LOCKERS....
-
you won't get either item or your own weapon and ammo!! ;D
-
its not a horrible price but you still need to buy a 2-channel radio and rx to control it.
-
is that what the code book says.... ;D ;D ;D ;D
G GFY!!!!!
-
Yea... I'd say $600 would be a fair price assuming it included the radio equipment. I'm not sure how many of ya'll are into the RC Crawler thing, but this is a legit build this guy has done with the thing.
And MikeD... this thing has got a winch, beadlocks, cheap tires, AND LOCKERS!!! So yea, I guess you could buy all those things with $600. haha {hihi}

I plan to build a scale rig one of these days. Or I can cheap out and snag this for $300 + battery and charger

Not mine, I wish! I hope to do a scale build one of these days, but they can cost a small fortune on their own. Some of the more detailed scales can get up there around the $600-$1000 and take a lot of bench time working on them to get em perfect. I would really like to do a scaled XJ build, but the only place that makes a legitimate XJ body is in Europe somewhere and asks ~$500 for the body alone :o

That's almost twice what I paid for my 2.0 build XJ, and it runs and drives. ;)

and the real thing was probably more fun to rev up and jump off a trailer too :D

You tell us, you did it, it looked fun even though I was going to use the ramps.

Was pretty fun. Got rid of that pesky air dam too {nln}
