My build has slowed a little been waiting on some parts and other issues. >:( But in the mean time I figure I will give yall an idea of the other things we are trying to get ready for the spring season. {letseat} We are working on the Sami mods are huss huss right know and we are also working on finishing up the Woody wagon. The Woody wagon under went a rear stretch, fender trimming, my old 36's, and relocating the gas tank. {toast}

After the past ride at RR it was decided that it was time for the sami to go under the knife. It is getting four linked and pushed back 10". The rear tiny bench seat was also ditched for a single full size seat. {letseat}

Well My rig is not getting wheeled again until I get my front locker installed and once summer break kicks in I'm helping my friend rebuild his yota he just bought. It's getting a new engine, dual cases, and some serious ghetto fab by the previous owner fixed. He's also essentially giving me a set of mini-truck axles in an attempt to spur me to build the Samurai based buggy I've talked about, the SOB has called me 3 times this week with ideas on what to add to my "imaginary" buggy, if it wasn't for a current lack of job he'd have me talked into building it.

We got bored yesterday and that isn't good because we tend to cut things at that point. {hihi} My brother decided it was time to put the saw zaw to use on the danger ranger so we decided to dove tailed the bed. {toast} {letseat}

Should have bobbed it first, look at Richards pictures. I think dove tail and bobbed would rule. {toast}

Thats funny I will have to tell him that one. {hihi}
Mark I tried to get him to bob it but he didn't want to get that far into it. We pretty much got this done in a couple hrs.

Looks Good, we marked and cut Richards in about 4 beers each, he had a lot more than that welding it back up though.
-
Its best to do both at the same time. But I only bobbed mine. Looks good.

Well Brad decided not to deal with the motor swap and electrical short on the woody wagon and instead went and picked up his new rig. {letseat} {popcorn} The Woody wagon is going to be parted out so if anyone is interested let me know. {toast}

Richard or Jimmy don't have a tube bender. ;D

Aside from the fenders, I kind of actually like that exo. Seems to follow the body very tightly.
-
It also has a cage inside that is attached to the exo. The rear suspicion is one of those counter lever system. Its crazy looking but has like 52 inches of travel.
-
Brad took me for a ride in it today. The thing is killer. {letseat}

by cantilever do you mean 4-link?
-
Yes the rear is four linked but by cantilever I mean the shock is attached to the inside top cage then runs down through a series of arms before connecting to the axle. It allows you to run a shorter shock but still have tons of travel. The next time I see it I will try and get some pictures of it.
-
You can see it in the last pic you posted.

Well since I have spent the better part of the last two weeks working on the heep, I figured I better get some projects done around the house before the wife kills me and burns the Jeep. Started the morning of Sat by waking the neighborhood up with the sound of chainsaws. I had a pine die this year to pine beetles and needed to be taken down so I decided while that one was getting taken down I would get another larger one taken down that I have never liked because it is so close to the house. The problem with it was it couldn't be dropped because of fear it would hit the house, so it had to be climbed and taken down piece by piece. The people that do this for a living are just plan nutts. The guy did amit to me that he thought that was the highest he had ever been up in a tree.

Then today after we got home from church I started on the new babies room. Started the room off by adding some beadboard and then chairail. Then went back with some new base and added some crown molding at the ceiling. All in all I think it turned out pretty good and will look really nice when that painting is done. Now maybe this will by me a little more time to work on the Jeep. {hihi}
