Has anyone ran an Auburn LSD? Is it worth it?

Looks like it can be had for around $300

I ran one in my XJ with the old axles. Worked great sometimes, sucked others. I definitely noticed it staying locked significantly more than the factory 8.8 LSD in Will's ride.
