Title: cement pad
Post by: wideload on September 09, 2010, 10:17:57 AM
going to need to pour a 20x18 cement pad so I figured there are some guys on this site that know of a reasonable contractor in the Jackson Ga. area to do it....
I know how but just too long in tooth to complete alone anymore!

When did you want to lay it? That is my job in the Air Force and would be willing to help you out for a case. Only thing is I dont get out of Korea till Dec.

Not in a real hurry...
I have a steel shed over the area so the surrounds are easy to deal with...I may need some gravel to cure the very slight slope, about 5 to 6" on one side rather than cement fill.
Not worried about rebar but will throw some wire in.
I don't mind the edging, brooming and such but dragging the stuff....the old back won't follow the direction of my mind!
Appreciate to and thanks for serving your country sir!

Sure thing, just let me know if you have'nt got it done by then and Ill make the trip up one weekend. And thank you for your support. Its a great job but the time away from my wife take's a toll on both of us. However the Lord has blessed me with a very strong wife that is always waiting for me.

The wife at home is a blessing....
My brother, rest his soul, was in the AF for 21.5 years till retirement..15 years with the postal service until his death..I recall the good and bad times for the guy..
Life is never easy but the end knowing the Lord makes the trip a good deal better!
