Title: Need help in mid. ga...rock sliders
Post by: The_Dealer on November 05, 2010, 11:45:35 PM
well my house is getting remodeled and we are staying at my girls parents, and i dont have access to my shop right now, as theres people in and out and crap everywhere. i have some 2x3" 1/4" wall steel that im wanting to make some rock sliders out of. nothing crazy i just need to get it done. anyone in the mid ga area willing to help me make some and weld them up? ill already have them cut to length, but im not sure the best way of attaching them to the frame(bolt on or weld on), and i just put on a 2" body lift. cant get to my welder because of all the construction crap in the way. if anyone has a place to do it and is willing to help, ill pay for materials(welding wire, grinding disk, etc.) and buy a case of their favorite  beverage. this is going on an 85 bronco II

thanks guys

Not sure where you live in Ga.  JC is unclear to me.
I have my smaller 140 Lincoln Mig. here in Jackson Ga. you can use or I can attach them for you but would have to be here.
My Lincoln 180 and gas are in Dacula for friend to finish his Scout and don't know when I will get that back here.

I attached mine and just did the Scout by going to the frame.

Next weekend is a workable time slot.
Any later than that will encroach upon the holidays and "SHE WHOM MUST BE OBEYED" must have me for the silly season start up!
