Title: Chevy 8 lug Dana 44- $125
Post by: Logan on January 03, 2011, 01:32:43 PM
My loss is your gain, I picked this axle up for a project a few weeks ago, but have decided to take it in a different direction.
This axle is out of a 1972 K20 suburban, so it is 8-lug and passenger drop. Would be a great upgrade from a 10 bolt front in an 80's chevy, or easily swapped under a CJ, Samurai, or Toyota to go fullwidth.

I haven't torn into this axle to confirm, but was told by the previous owner that it is 4.10 geared with an open carrier. The only problem I have found is a busted u-joint.

I'd like $125 for the axle and am willing to deliver within 15miles of Taylorsville for free. I can deliver up to 50miles for an additional $25.
I can also provide pics on request.
Will also consider trades for a Ford 9" rear from a pickup.

Haha alright Andy, bets are I still will. So far all I've had was a guy on pirate wanting me to get it to Middleburg,FL and a guy off of Craigslist, who wouldn't answer his phone. :D
