Right one... that's freakin sweet...
Damn, another build I've got to follow now...
-
That'll be one to watch.
-
Got the frame lengthened, the body cut and mocked up. 12-valve is pulled and going for tear down and rebuild. Should be getting good now.

If they're tearing into the Cummins, I'm hoping they take the opportunity to build that engine right {letseat}
-
That's a lawwwwwooong belly....

Si, compensation thru clearance, senior.

screet tars are only gonna be 42's. ;D
I'm pretty sure with as deep as MBRP is into the diesel market, they will have a nice power plant working.
-
yeah, should be much nicer than this;

stretched jk with a 12v = awesome.
what doug posted = gay.
-
awesome build, can i suggest making it a 2 door with a long bed, 4 doors aint cool ;D
-
Agreed. A Cummins-powered Jeep is a beautiful thing.
WTF is that hanging under Doug's picture...is that a portal for the drive shafts? Good luck when that slams into something or snags a rock...

Its a transfer case prob a profab its a mud bogger thing. That jeep is built for the mud. No need to bash it cause its not lcog. Guy prob spent alot of time and money in it. And even though its 34' its different. {popcorn}

Still oogly. Swapping Jeep bodys on fullsize truck frames tends to be hard to pull off cleanly.

Jimmy Joints FTW :D
Here are some pictures of the Summit Machine "Jimmy Joints" The high misalignment design provides 60 degrees of total misalignment. We are using 1 1/4" for the large ones and 3/4" for the small ones.

This is a size comparison on the 1 1/4"s

We also have the steering arms from North West Fab. They are a springless design which is adjustable for king pin preload vs. using a spring for that.

$450 for one. :o
Did you see the pic of it next to a can? If I remember correctly they were designed for one links.
-
Wow :o That thing is going to be a beast! Id love to have the time and $$$ to take on a project like that...
-
-
They going to crush cars with that thing. Man its huge.
-
It is way too high IMO. Looks like it should have rockwells and monster truck tires on it. Hope they bring it down before it's all over :P
-
Definitely seems higher than needed. Loving the parts list though.

Frame to bottom of transfercase 12"

Looks like there's no drivetrain in there. That Cummins will make her sit a little I'm sure.
-
So why not just use a 3.0L Diesel from a totaled jeep instead? just sayin'.. other than yes the cummings I-6 is a beast. . now find an Allison tranny to bolt up and it'll be a Jeep god
-
Anyone check this out lately? It's pretty badass!
