if you could bring it by my place i could hook you up.  i jsut got done reading everything on that other post, is the fuel pump out still?  some of the things your asking sort of scare me about how you are checking things.  if you can't get the truck over and i'm assumeing you can't any chance you can bring the pump and all the relays that they were talking about, dont care about if it's the right one i can test them all here.  it sounds like you have a shorted wire some where also, but i can test the parts that you are wondering about and at least point you in the right direction.

Dang give us time to respond.  {toast}  I can help sat or sunday. I read the other post also and I think its a wiring problem that caused  pump issue. I have dealt with this before. You will have to cycle the key to get voltage at the pump. If Mike cant get you straight let me know. {toast}

sorry i was getting worried, i have a friend who may be able to help but whenever hes ready. the more the merrier :)
no i prefer to keep the truck at the house, its not running and on jackstands now.

i could be wrong but i think the problem is somewhere else in the truck, it may not be in the sending unit area, could be under the hood or such.

this weekend sounds great, cept after 4 on sunday (my aunts birthday)

i really want to get this truck running soon, im gonna need it :(

Nice to meet you. And the truck looks good you got an awesome deal. Not sure if you could understand me all the way I have a lazy tongue and sometimes well most of the time people dont understand what I say so I know you had probs. But enough of that. Im 99% sure the fuel pump is bad. What caused it to go out could be a number of things. Thats where I would start if it was mine. The fuel pump at advance has a one year warranty so if it goes again you can take it back. Let me know when you get it and I will help install it. You are getting the right voltage to the pump the only reason its not 12v is because the starter pulls the voltage down once it starts up it will go up to 13.  {toast}

thanks everyone for concerns and help! I think we may have found the problem, I've pieced together the puzzle and it seems to be leaning towards the fuel pump. one friend said wiring may also be a problem but i think that can wait til later cause we need to get gas to the engine first(fuel pump)

tomorrow ill be making a stop at the parts store and getting the pump, lets hope this works! :D

thanks y'all! {toast} {toast} {toast}

If its not the one you need all I ask is for it back. But if it is the same as what you need you can have it. Lots of good general info about everything. Thats what I learned most of what I know from. DONT FORGET THAT HOSE CLAMP.

Still going strong? Did you get that window fixed?

the book is the right one, were using the 5th edition but my teacher says the 3rd edition works great as well. saved me 135 bucks plus the bookstore doesnt have any more new books in stock lol. hose clamp is already on, gonna try and fill it up with gas hoping theres no leak. i got the window to go back up but cant get it to go down cause the wire is too short. new problem i have with the jeep now is the bogging issue when i accelerate slightly, oh and the heat, got to have heat lol. ;D

im still trying to figure the 2 things now, if i can get it fixed i may need some help again  :hlp
