Title: Thanks and goodbye!
Post by: Sasquatch on March 19, 2011, 05:42:58 PM
In the last couple weeks things have gone fairly sour for me.  It looks like I will no longer have access to my wifes vehicle that gets much better mileage than my Jeep did.  So today I traded my Jeep in on an 08 VW GTI.  23/28mpg vs 14mpg made it an easy decision.

Thanks to everyone that helped me on the trails and gave me advice for my build.  I met some very cool people by riding with you guys and wish you all good luck on future trips.

Thanks again and happy trail riding!

You don't have to leave the forum just cause you don't have a jeep any more. Just ask bigjerm or myself for that matter!

 You need to hang out here for a while.
You could always start looking for a cheap XJ and build it slowly. Then you have your DD and a play toy.  {cool}
Food for thought.......

I miss my MKV GTI. Good choice in a car.

I had so much fun with Autocrossing in my GTi. Check out www.soloatlanta.com and try it with your car.
