Sandy & I took off to Little River Canyon in NE AL. today. Its not far from Ft.Payne, Al. Beautiful country for a day ride with the family. Doesn't cost you a dime to get in or enjoy it! Here's some pice from today. Enjoy!

If anyone is interested in a day ride here let me know. I'm usually off weekends.
Google Little River Canyon National Preserve or www.nps.gov/liri for more info.

I would like to know where all you went. We have a farm at the base of the mountain and we just got our jeep this year.

Looks like a fun time. Guy I work with rides there a lot. Says there is no real need for 4x4 but it makes for a great day in the woods.

It's about 2 1/2 hours from Atl. Not very far from Mountainside ORP. Should've got pic of the roads that follow the canyon, motorcycle heaven!

Looking forward to this trip as well. Definitely going to be our next Tier 1.

I'll be going back this Sat. My son Michael wanted to ride up there before he reports to Army boot camp in a couple of weeks. Anyone wanting to join us is more than welcome!
