Looking for a currie or rugged ridge heavy duty y link steering setup. Any condition is fine. Shoot me a price.

ACGIDDENS is at Omix (Rugged Ridge) right now - they are test fitting their new steering for the XJ/TJ. It is supposed to be pretty strong! I wouldn't order it now though, you'll probably get the older style.

I would say the Currie steering would be the way to go. We have had great feedback over the years on this kit! We sell them all the time!!

I added a pole to your build thread for the steering.

cool.

But my problem is this:
I'm not 100% where I'm going with this build at the moment. I'm at a fork in my build. Either stay D30 and just keep fixing the little things that go bad while still building it, or drop my pants on a d44 swap. either way, at the moment, I dont want to put a whole lot into this steering because I have it in mind to do a crossover setup with a new pass. side knuckle if I keep the D30.

So thats why the search for something used. Something I can just make work for now. I was thinking I could capitalize on someone's parts pile after there axle swap.....

You will spend more on a 44 swap. Dtiveshaft adjustments, possible new wheel bolt pattern so need wheels or adapters, possible steering linkages adjusted and so on. Trust me, i just did the swap.

Oh I know. I did it all on my last swap. Like I said, i'm at a stalemate. lol. Unless I just bite the bullet and buy a rubicon d44. I've been watching around everywhere for a good deal. so for now I think I will continue to strengthen what I have unless I can afford otherwise. But I still need this HD steering setup.

Both kits will work on you rubi d44 and d30 if that's specific swap your trying to do. I saw there new design they fixed the jam nuts hitting by bending the tie rod end with the hole for the draglink. I don't know when they will release the new design but they installed my currie kit for letting them use my jeep, they were taking notes on the currie. I would wait it out if your holding out on the build, maybe Rugged ridge will come through...

 I saw a lot of new goodies for you JK guys out there.  ;D

 {btt} I would go with currie if your wanting to do it now, who knows when RR will release the new design...

Are you asking if RR need's a JK? If so I dont think they will. The owner has one and about 3 or 4 other employees have one as well there. But I told them to let me know whenever they need a vehicle for test fitment and I will relay the message on here for the GATR guys. But like I said they have JK's and TJ's covered up there

they can use my rig whenever they want.   {letseat}

But hopefully someone has a parts pile from a swap in a barn or something. I just need a HD steering setup of any kind. Everyone loves extra money...
