Title: Sleeping at the wheel
Post by: jwoodruff06 on March 02, 2012, 12:10:18 PM
What happens when our civilians fall asleep on the flightline, they end up driving into 747's. I think he just may have lost his contract out here lol.

Well i used to be a f-15 crew chief and titanium fairings which are about 8 inches long and 2 to 3 inches wide cost 1200 bucks.. And as you can see this tail cone is a little bigger than the fairing so definitely a pricey accident. Ill dig a little and see what i can find out on a price the 747 was here for 4 days getting repaired and waiting on the new tail cone so 4 days of manpower plus per diem that was an expensive nap.
