What makes you think its Honda ?
-
WOW!!!! Surprised the car was able to drive away

the long rubber strip beside the mailbox that came off the car says Honda on it.
It left a long red stripe in the road where it was draggin a brick. The only good thing is that car is fu**ed up.
It lifted the fdn and brick lower portion up and turned it 90 degrees, out of the hole where the foundation was!

If you can get me the numbers off that rocker panel cover, I can narrow down the year and model of the car for you.
-
will do. and I'm in Gwinnett for anyone in my area.
-
Actually. I think I already found the paperwork I was looking for.
You should be looking for a 1999-2000 model civic sedan.
That is a basic front bumper cover piece, so its probably a dx or hx model. Possibly even a low end ex.
Might also be a 1996 -1998 civic that someone has wrecked before and put a newer style front bumper cover on, since it is a direct fit.
Color should be Clover Green Pearl G-95P.
Hope you get them. Have a better day.

Wow. Thanks. That is awesome.

Randy, my old mailbox as a kid had this problem with people. My dad kept building them stronger and stronger. One day I remember standing outside and watching and old crown vic plow into it and it busted the front all to crap, but he kept driving. Dad chased after him but did not get him ;D That car was fubared! The mailbox was dug atleast 3ft down with poored concrete, made of stone. I would have to say it was a younger, drunken person. Keep an eye out! Good luck! {:shoot}

I'll keep an eye out!
They were more than likely drunk! They drove off so they didn't get a dui.

we had the same problem when I was growing up. Our house was about a 1/4 mile off the road and kids used to come by and hit our mailbox all the time with baseball bats. Finally my dad got tired of it and built a mailbox post out of a 6" steel pipe then built the box itself out of 1/4" plate steel. He put it 2 feet into the ground with cement. It lasted for several years until some drunk ran off the road and hit it. The car was pretty much total and it did rip the mailbox out of the ground but the mailbox itself was barely damaged. We just stuck it back in the ground and it's still there today. That was probably 30 years ago.

Temporary mailbox. Actually got mail in it today!

I need to clean mortar off brick so I can rebuild my mailbox. Can anyone recommend the Klutch air hammer and chisel set from Northern tools? Runs about $40. thank you.
-
I have an air chisel and tools. Come get it. U got a compresssor?
Cleaning bricks is one of the hardest jobs I have ever attempted,
A lost easier and cheaperI to put in a treated post kit from lowes or the depot.
-
Is that a cultasac? I am sure the person that hit your box will be back by, you should sit in your front yard with a shotgun for when they to. {sniper}

My friends dad had the issue of people constantly knocking they're mailbox down.
He made one on a swivel and had a steel bar on the back of it.
He came out the next day and pieces of their tail light were on the ground.
