Title: Selling motor

Has anyone on here bought a 4.0 lately? Trying to get an idea of what one would be worth.

I have an 05 4.0 with the 42rle tranny with less than 50k miles on it and I'm going to include the Borla exhaust system with it. I was thinking about starting at $1500 and see what happens.

Good price. Low mileage is a major plus.

When I was looking it was about 700-800 range for the engine half. 1500 for all is good.

Last extra one I sold for $500. It had 150k miles on it.

I have a question. Will a manual tranny from a 2000 TJ bolt up to the this engine. From what I can see it should buy want to make sure I'm not lying to someone.

I don't see why not. I don't think the block pattern changed just the way it received the spark over the years.
