Title: Get out and vote!
Post by: tcdawg on October 29, 2012, 12:57:05 PM
Early voting started last week and this week your county should have an even larger number of early voting precincts open....get out and vote!!!

I hit the Marietta early voting precinct last Thursday and got mine in.

10-4... standing in line to vote is easy... standing all day to provide security for the polls sucks. Glad to see folks out though  </BEER/>

Luckily Georgia has been a republican state since 1996. Not that im knocking anyone that chooses to vote democrat.

http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/06/29/presidential-geography-georgia/

You can see how in the last election Georgia was won by 5%.

Every vote counts.

Every vote counts.

Sadly I dont believe that. Local elections yes but president... I dont think so. Since he (or she) is elected via the electoral college popular vote doesn't count as much. While it has only happened a few times in history, it has happened before that the popular vote did NOT win the electoral votes and was not elected president. Seems a bit silly doesnt it? I think you should still vote, period

I would normally have more latitude with the Dems but not this time around.
I have attempted to educate/inform/school or whatever you would call it with a ton of facts and figures...Constitutional law breakers in the party this season..all the promised agendas..not that Rep didn't screw up too!...the transparencies that never took place..blahblahblah!
With everything I explain I receive the same answers..but the children..the poor..Rep. hate the poor and have all the money..they hate clean air!..help me!
So I just emailed and FB everyone Liberal I know and asked for honesty..if you are voting for the Big "O" just lose me..delete me or whatever you need to do because this time around..it's a for keeps election where everything and everybody will be seriously impacted for the worse..especially the elderly like myself!

One thing good about the wait times. It means people are voting. We just hope they are voting the correct way

That's one good thing about absentee ballots, no line to wait in. I mailed mine in well over a week ago.

But will it count this time? Those absentee ballots scare me a bit. Military guys seem to get shafted.

Don't forget to take 30% of your kid's candy this morning -- tell them it's a tax and it's only fair.     </LMAO/>    {btt}

If your child has less than half a bag, then he shouldnt get taxed. Take 50% of your neighbors candy and give 15% back to your child, keep the other 35% for yourself.
