I'm new to the forum and would like to make friends and looking to do some off roading. I live in the Smyrna Ga area and I own a 1998 Jeep Wrangler with 6 in suspension, 4x4, warn winch, 15x10 mt wheels and 35x12.50x15 BFG's. I need to find somewhere to do some trail riding and enjoying the outdoors. Any advice or does anyone want to meet up? I could go as soon as Monday or Tuesday (11/26, 11/27). Please Help !!
Thanks

Welcome to GATR..Post a picture of your Jeep. We do organized rides once a month as a club. Some people will get together and ride on off weekends. You will just have to watch the forum

Welcome. I live in Marietta on the Smyrna line. No where to take a jeep unless you drive about 1.5 hours to the ga mountains. A little longer than that you can get to Morris Mountain ORV park in Alabama and Beasley knob ORV in Blairesville, GA.

There are places, just not super close. We try and make weekend trips with some camping thrown in to make the most of our time and get the max amount of wheeling time in. The 2013 schedule will be posted soon.

Sounds good, I'll be sure to check the calendar out,

I live in Dallas GA and you have to travel 1.5 to 2 hrs minimum to do anything worth doing that is legal of coarse. You have spent a lot of time and money building a rig to enjoy you have to be patient and realize that if you get to wheel three or four times a year you are lucky any more than that you are blessed.
Welcome to the sport or sickness what ever you want to call it.
