What part should i get?
« on: May 01, 2013, 06:44:39 PM »
So I'm at a stand still here trying to decide what part I should add on before i make my trip to Maine this Summer because i plan to do some trail riding up there for that is where i have spent every summer of my life but this will be the first time i will have my jeep up there for the summer. I'm looking to stay around or under $500. I have 2012 JKU sport with a body armor bumper with two rigid led cubes and two long distance kc's. and i have some bfg km2 33'' tires and side armor already on my jeep. I've made a list of possibilities and wanted some advice what would be the best investment for now. Here are the options: the body armor front skid plate, smittybilt xrc 8000lb winch, airaid synthamax intake, rugged ridge light bar w/KCs, or the 50" lifetime LED bar. any input  would be much appreciated and any advice on the Lileftime LED bar vs rugged ridge 5 light setup would be much appreciated as well since I think that i will get one or the other down the road at some point.

Once you get a winch then you'll wonder
how you ever made it without one.
Then check it off the long list of goodies!!

I have a smitty 10k with synthetic and used it a few times. Works great. I ran a smitty 8k on my TJ and never had problems.

I agree with winch and recovery gear...  Because of my schedule I don't get to do much wheeling in large groups...  Mostly alone when I get a free minute...  Having the winch gives me piece of mind when out alone...  Great investment...

sounds like I should get a winch. I am already excited just thinking about finally having one. Won't have to worry about calling someone to drive an hour to pull me out of whatever i get into haha

You can get yourself in a mess with a winch if your not careful.
