Nothing more aggravating than finally having the time to fix my truck, I've had the parts for three weeks, and finding out that the parts store gave you the wrong part!
  Had to replace the bearing, hub, knuckle, rotor and breaks on my truck.  I got everything pulled off and new parts put back on, only thing left was to put the rotor and brakes back on.  Come to find out the rotor they gave me is apparently the wrong one.  It rubs on the brake shield.  After looking a little closer and comparing it with the old rotor, I noticed that the "bars or cooling vents" (whatever they are called) between both sides of the rotor are longer than on the old rotor, causing it to be to thick and rubbing. Prob about 1/16 to 1/8 to long.
  Anyway, it's just aggravating. Have to get it tommorrow..

I know how you feel, been there done that. Professional mechanic for almost 3 decades. Hopefully the parts store will have the right one in stock for you.

Usually this happens to me after I have already made 3 or 4 parts store runs....yea, it will cause a guy to be a little pissed.

Got the correct rotor today, truck is rolling again!  See y'all Saturday.
