I wanna lift my jeep it's a "95" Wrangler YJ and not sure what i should get. I wanna put 33's on it but know nothing about whats the best brand and how high to lift it... thanks for all your help guys I really am learning a lot.
I will sound like a broken record here but I recomend BDS Suspension (Dig Dicks Suspension), I run a 3.5" on my YJ with a 1" Daystar BL and some boomerang shackles and clear 33's with ease. The Jeep rides much better than stock. They have lifetime, no fine print warranty that replaces anything that breaks. I was running a different brand for a few years and put the BDS on after I bent a spring. There is a night and day differance. When I was buying my wife a lift for her YJ she insisted on a BDS. They can be picked up local to Atl. so they don't have to be shipped. If I were to do it over I would leave out the Body lift and just run 3.5" lift with 5/8" Shackle lift. The boomerangs help the military wrap springs keep from bottoming out on the rear cross member. This isn't the cheapest lift around but as far as I'm conserned it ranks as the best I've seen/felt on a YJ. Do a yahoo search for BDS Suspension, go to there website plug in your info, the price you can get it for local is a little cheaper. I know this because I just bought my wifes for Valentines day. PM me if you would like the contact number. {toast}
