just to add, i also run a Aussie in my D30. completely transparent in 2wd.... audible, yet faint clicking as it ratchets while turning. in 4wd, it widens out the turning radius a bit and also contributes to a little more bucking when turning. particularly on hardpack surfaces. it ate a u-joint in Moab back in '06.... but it was gonna happen anyway. carry spares. once you change one or two, its second nature.
