Do yourself a favor when buying an XJ stick to the 91 and up year models. Better power, one piece axles in the front and less trouble the cooling and fuel injection setup.

yea im not a big fan of renix jeeps, i would prefer to have a 97+ 2dr that was 4wd. but i night have to settle for a 2wd, because its my daily driver. and the only times i need 4wd is when i get stuck in 2wd

I bought my stock 1 owner 98 XJ for $3600.

You should be able to find a 91+ in good shape with a solid drivetrain for around $2000 though.

Check every local forum you can find lol.
