I have been following the thread since you initially posted. I wonder what the definition of LCG is? Is it dependent on the model of Jeep (i.e.- TJ is different that JK).
LCG=low center of gravity. often thought as less lift than what's "needed" for a stock body style vehicle to run larger tires. Yes, it depends on the vehicle. The center of gravity will always be different for a TJ rather than an F-150 or a XJ than a WJ.
There's alot of stuff you can do to have an LCG build. Cut wheels wells instead of lift, move parts of the undercarriage up, etc etc.
Most rock crawlers prefer LCG. While most mudd boggers are go big or go home.
I know most people disagree, but it doesn't make much of a difference to me. For around here, and for the average person, a simple lift with decently treaded tires is more than enough for most trails. This statement is in reference to size, not protection, gearing, recovery, etc.
