JK Parts Needed
« on: December 02, 2013, 07:33:07 PM »
I had a bit of a mishap this past weekend up at Bell Mountain.... I'll help you clean out your garage of your old JK parts.

I'm looking for a R/F fender flare, R/R fender flare (2dr) and R/R tail lamp.

If you have an extra R/F fender and an extra R/R 1/4 panel that would be good too! No, I can live with the fender and 1/4 but the innards of the fender flares are toasted.

Thanks Danny!!

It was all driver error! I misjudged the v-ditch got on my way down and slid off the wall and into the v-ditch. The sounds of cracking flares were fabulous.

Good thing my recovery gear is always in my Jeep, just for those "you never know" days.

Sorry to hear about your damage AJ. Of course if you're like me, this would make a nice excuse to get some aftermarket goodies too. Just in time for Christmas  //PAPA//

Believe me, I thought of this but unless something really good happens I don't have the funds to do that. But hey, something good can happen... bonus check.... hit the lotto... long lost uncle I don't know about leaves me an inheritance... ya never know!

I say take the others off and leave it. Flares just get in the way. It looks pretty cool without flares.

Danny do you have any old flares? I'm not concerned of the condition of how they look, just if the plastic is not broken into 15 pieces. Really, I could probally get away using my outter fender, it's the ribed what I would call "inner sub fender" that took the brunt of it. The rear flare MAY be reusable I need to spend some time with it.
I did get the tail lamp to mount back into the body, that's the second time it got the snot knocked out of it and popped it out of the body. I guess it's just my driving skills, or lack there of! Hey, ain't no body can say it's a mall crawler!
