So there was a shooting on Monday (surprise surprise). Two of the men arrested from the shooting were already out on bail....one for shooting and one for drugs.....and guess what....they were released on bail AGAIN. WTF? Anyone else see a problem here?!?!?!

I'm gonna have to take your word for it that Macon sucks, I don't doubt that... but the story sounds like it could happen anywhere.  I don't necessarily understand bail and parole and definitely don't understand life in prison when it's a ridiculous crime.  When someone murders 3 or 4 people and they give him consecutive life sentences... why?  Just give him the death penalty and make it within the year.  Not 20 years down the road.

this is why i will soon own a gun and why i think that "an eye for an eye" should be our motto for crime. you shoot someone, you get shot. $0.50 for a bullet is a lot easier for me to deal with than millions of dollars of our tax money going to feeding, clothing and housing our criminals.
