Interest in Wheeling out West
« on: November 08, 2009, 11:43:00 AM »
I am interested in knowing if you, or if you know anyone who wants to and is able to travel and go wheeling in the west in 2010.

This year I plan to leave either on the 15th of Dec. or 2nd of Jan. on my travels and wheeling in the west.

If I get to leave the 15th of Dec. it will be to Borrego Springs, CA and hookup with my friends at the FMCA 4-wheelers at a no host rally then to Death Valley, to Quartzsite, AZ, then to Apache Junction, AZ. I will be there from Jan. 25th to March 25 and head to Moab, UT. Will leave Moab toward the end of May and go to Placerville, CA to join up with my friends there to do the Rubicon and Dusy-Ershim trails. We will do a lot of trails out there in that area.

After Placerville, (Hangtown), CA I have not planned where I will go them. This year I went to Northern California on the Coast, to Oregon Coast for two months and then up to Washington. The high light of the trip this year was a trip to the Boeing plant Tour.

I did some really good wheeling in Oregon and Washington.

I may head back to Colorado this year and do my wheeling there again. I have not been there since 2005.

If you know anyone that has an RV and likes to travel, Wheeling and would be able to do this agenda, please let me know.

In the past I just head out without anyone tagging along and it works great, but it would be nice to have a buddy to wheel with. That way you do not have to find someone to run with. Also you can see a lot more different places. My buddy that usually is able to wheel at Moab is married and his wife is working this year.

My other friends will be at Moab and the FMCA 4 wheelers will be there.

I am an associate member of the RedRock4-Wheelers and they are the main club in Moab. They put on the Easter Safari and Labor Day Campout. They do a lot of wheeling in that area.

Please, let me know if you find anyone who is interested and has time to do this type of travel and wheeling.

Also taking applications for a female first mate, who is a good wheeler, jeep mechanic, winch puller, cook, house worker, and etc. lol

We need to have fun toooooooooooo!
