So We had the privilege to remove a "specimen" size water oak this week.  It was over 250 years old and as much as I didn't want to take it down it was leaning heavily at a customers house.  Was alot of fun and the trunk will be recycled into coffee tables and end table.

Tops of the trunk

Bottom of stump.  Gonna make a nice table.

Man I love my job.

On a side note I will be selling firewood this year $115 / half cord undelivered, $135 delivered get it while Its still there.  It will go fast this year again.  Gonna be another coooooold winter.

I have a similar large water oak standing next to my house.  Large limbs hanging over my bedroom.  Will miss the shade but time for it to go along with several of its friends.  The last tree service I had in here dropped a tree on my house.  Luckily a small tree.  Lots of traveling the next few months but will contact you when ready.  You can't live here while you work but bring your fishing pole...... //;D//

My cousin has that 880 and it went thru a 100 year old oak like butter in less than a minute.  Amazing.

I've used a 18 inch a good bit. I needed to borrow a friends 36 incher for a tree & was really surprised at how easy it was to start & handle.

I'd like to see the furniture too.

I will need to get a quote at some point. I have a 50' magnolia that is partially leaning over the house.
