I knew he would go back to solid axle setup. I still can't get why these guys build there buggies like this as you can't see crap! But they are not crawling but rather floorboarding it and hoping it goes right. Not alot of skill to most of them IMO.
Don't get on hardline with that logic...lol.
actually, the funny thread, thread hasn't been updated I a while...please start a post with that statement.

Looks like ass from the a pillar forward but it'll have TC standing on the podium holding that trophy... With some hurt feeling after the races. Hauls ass across those telephone polls with only coil carriers.. I didn't think showtime 2.0 was ugly but the last two have looked kinda dumpster to me. I can't stand the lime green. Looks like a 16 year old redneck picked out the colors and "skins". Glad Brandon Davis painted everything orange, he drives the hell out of that buggy now. I think it's takes a whole different level of skill to shoot up a hill in however many seconds with the way those rigs react to obstacles. Like TC said, he likes the way to solid axle works and can use a smaller rock to jump a bigger one. You can't just take joe blow off the street and stick him in that rig for 30 minutes and expect to see him in a top 15 finish at a ARC, SRRS, MTS, ACS, Prorock, or whatever race series.

Travis Lovett had Like 20 minutes seat time in his new Hitman buggy when he won the AOP bounty hill last year...

I do think there is skill involved.  A really bad analogy is:  compare it to sky diving...sure, any Joe can be pushed out of a plane to fall free for thousands of feet, but doing cool stuff, and landing safely takes skill.

I would love to see someone just give the keys of one of those rigs to you ( @94xjsport94 ) and see how well you do.

I'll happily take the keys as long as I am not held liable for any damages. Not saying I'll be any good at it but I'll give it hell.

If the rock bouncers show up at Crawling for Reid, it would be a very cool raffle prize...keys to a bouncer and 10 minutes to attempt a bounty hill ( @cru9 )

It would be no different than me driving my rig. I would slowly drive into trees that I saw coming and had plenty of time to react to but for some reason still hit. That would be a fun prize though.

I've only seen one such race, up Cable Hill at Grey Rocks.  As far as I could tell they started out aimed straight and then it's a matter of luck where they ended up at the top.  That trail is a funnel, so a bit different than a boulder field.
