The fireworks are in full force near my house.  I'm used to some stuff going off, but the neighbors must have found a lot of extra money this year (thanks Obama), because this is unlike any event before.

They have been great over here. We decided to go for a night swim and ended up getting a free firework show from another neighborhood.

No - I'm sharing that July 4th should be celebrated on July 4th.  Not an entire week.  Christmas should be celebrated on Christmas, etc.  people were sending Facebook posts "Happy 4th" on July 1st.  If you set off fireworks every day, what's the point?
I agree then. Heard on the news a lot that cities were doing festivities on Saturday. I was like why? So next year when it's even further into the week, they gonna do it 5 days in advance?!?!. It should be celebrated the day of, not any other day. I guess most people forgot the point of the holiday like most holidays now a days.

We watched them over the bay in Charleston last night. Tonight we are taking a paddle boarding tour to watch. Shouldn't suck to bad!

Yep, going crazy again tonight.  I heard Kennesaw did their show last night, and Marietta is doing theirs tonight.  My neighbors are doing it both nights!

Ellijay did them Saturday night which was nice not having to worry about work the next morning.  My area that the house is in was nice and quiet last night.
