@clark123456 @tcdawg
I bought the ARE CX model.  I wanted a frame-less door with internal hinges but the only model with it that fit my truck only had small pop out side windows and I wanted half sliders.

I think it's the same one John has. @jd30005

I had toyed with the idea of the TW model which is raised at the rear door.  I talked myself out of that fairly quickly.

that's a nice one. Good choice.

did you happen to order with the tilt-down front window?  It lets you clean your trucks rear window without taking the top off.

I had a Leer on my old Powerstroke...
It is a love/hate type of deal for me. Love hauling stuff
while keeping it dry. Didn't worry as much about stuff
in the bed with it on. Hated not being able to get a load
of rocks or whatever without taking it off. They are a pain
to put on and take off. Slept in mine before at Gulches
and it got down in the 30's and like to froze.  Decided
not to get one for my Duramax.

Yep, definitely give and take.  Don't plan on taking it off but I know the time may come when I want to haul something.

Having a trailer definitely could reduce the need for having to take off the cap.  I have used my equipment trailer to haul firewood and dirt.

It is a trade off. For me, it was an easy decision and the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.  For the couple times a year I may need to haul mulch or stone I just rent a trailer from Home Depot for the day. It's cheap enough and has the added benefit of not worrying about any truck bed damage.

Loved the one I put on the long bed Dmax for the first Moab trip but no more tag doubles for me, only goose now, so can't run a cap.  If you have a good helper and good yard stands its easy to put on and off as needed. Probably helps mpgs too.
