I got back Monday from a week in India followed by 2 weeks in Japan. Things in India were normal, as there were no cases there yet, and even Italy was at the start of its crisis. I did have my temperature checked on arrival at Mumbai airport, and anyone who had visited China was excluded from entry.
When I got to Japan, I found that closing of museums and tourist spots had started the previous day (Feb. 29). Lots of Japanese in public were wearing masks, and almost all hotel employees were as well. Restaurants and nightlife went on as normal the entire two weeks I was there. Other than hotel and restaurants, I mainly visited temples and public parks, where it was easy to remain at a distance from others. Doing so in restaurants wasn't possible, but I did remain careful on hand washing and face-touching.
My return flight via Houston was almost empty, 50 people in a 777. IAH was a ghost town. Even scored an upgrade on Delta for the Houston Atlanta leg as a lowly Silver.
No symptoms here, but we're excluding our daughters from visiting for another week, and other than grocery shopping I'm staying home. Went to give blood and was told India visit excludes donations for a full year.
