River Rock Ride Report/Pictures
« on: September 28, 2008, 03:17:59 PM »
This weekend was awesome and anyone who didn't go definitely missed out on good friends, good food and good wheelin' ;D A big thanks to Doug and family for letting us take control of their house for the weekend an to Mike and Will for organizing the ride.

No major carnage: I bent another tierod, Larry broke the welds on his spider gears in the morning then twisted the splines on his rear DS in the afternoon, Judd's pitman arm is screwed up.

Nice to meet all the new folks I've never met before, too.

Ben coming up trail 2:

I think Mike is saying "something doesn't look right":

My bent tierod on trail 2(same rock that I did it on earlier this month):

Ben climbing the hill on 2:

Jeremy realizing that lowriders and big bumps don't end well for bumpers:

Alex coming up the hill on 2:

Mike keeping Doug on the ground:

Larry making it look easy:

Larry getting himself stuck:

Will climbing the ledge on 7:

2" of lift and 35's can't flex ::) :

Will's Hi-Lift handle keeping my tie rod straight:

And finally, how to wash a Jeep:

First off, let me say, I did NOT get stuck in that whole Jimmy showed. I did however get high centered on a dirt mound, and almost got stuck twice more the same way. Anyways here is my post fromt the other thread.

"had a good ride today! Nice to meet all the new guys and always nice to ride with the rest of yall. I guess today I learned the stock Wrangler limitations and hopefully tomorrow I can say I sweet talked the other into at least a 2.5" Budget boost and wheel spacers. Not many pictures because the camera died not even an hour into the ride.

Only damage I have is the dented front bumper but hey, need to lose those end caps anyways.

Thanks yall for being nice with Montana. It was her first trail ride and really her first time allowed off the leash except at dog parks. She slept all 2 hours home and then got a bath and is now asleep again on the couch."

Here are the few pictures I got http://s72.photobucket.com/albums/i189/JermTib05/River%20Rock%2008/

And for Christmas, I get a lift  {toast}

An absolute blast!!! Thanks to everybody for coming out and especially Doug and company for opening up their awesome lake house for us. And the food! Can't say enough about it. Thanks again Doug. Sunday on the lake was almost as fun as wheelin. All you can ride jet skis and 15 feet of air on the tube. Man what a weekend!

Thanks again everybody! Can't wait to hang out again!

and Jimmy, my Jeep is tracking better too.  :D

I posted a vid in the other section but here it is again. Awesome time is all I can say! I especially like being able to drive to RR and home and still have a 1/4 tank left!! It does not get much better than this weekend!!

I've grown tired of this.
