it's not really the volts its the amps that will kill ya..unless you get zapped by 200000 volts..but is it AC or DC.. how many amps? .5 amps? or 50 amps?

I think 100 mA can kill you (.1 A). But, according to Ohm's law (V=IR), voltage and amperage are directly proportional as long as resistance is constant. So, if the volts are high, the amps are high = you dead.

i would have to say that is part right.. you can have 1000 volts with only 2amps.. cause there is no way you can have 20,000 volts with 20k worth of amps... so there for they cant be directly proportional..

That's assuming you only have one ohm of resistance though. Directly proportional just means that as one increases, the other increases also as long as all other variables are held constant.
