gonna be pretty hard for a 2.7 with an auto to bust a 9.5 inch axle... now the rear 8.4 might die any day lol.

Sweet. When you gonna have it ready to ride? Bet it feels good to put those IFS days behind you.

waiting on the oilpan to come in so i can at least drive and start doing my test work. i need to move it from where it is so i can flex it good and see where to mount and what type of shocks to i need plus see how i am going to do brake lines. everyone has talked me out of going with a doubler so that saves some cash but i am still looking at months more work with it getting dark at 6 :(

man, dark don't mean nothin'. At school we pull the rigs around each other, switch on the rock lights and point the fog lights down. We can work all night!  {toast}    ;D

its getting there. the new shackles are on, the holes are punched for the sterring box but i need to wait till monday for the welding shop to open up for grade 8 bolts. the oil pan and everything needed under there is on order.... its slowly getting there. truck should be in driving condition as soon as i get the oilpan. only need to figure out osmething on the brakes but that shouldnt be too bad then the expensive part begins....

i need to get an adapter from inchworm to make the transfer case work
need to get gears and a locker
need to modify the driveshaft which i cant do until i have the tcase in.
remake the skid plates once the tcase is in
lots and lots of other stuff that wont happen for a while since the medical bills are pouring in :(

That will be a sweet setup when you get done!  I have thought about doing going with a SA with my taco but I think I am just going to keep it IFS and give it to my son in about 2 years (when he turns 16) and buy a FZJ80 LC that will have more room from my family to wheel with me.

Looking forward to seeing your rig on the trails once it is complete! {popcorn}

What kind of CO's do you have?  I actually sold my DR CO's 6-months ago because I was planning on going SAS. LOL

they are fox coilovers, stock front diff with 4.56 gears and an arb air locker with compressor. also have manual hubs and everything else if you have ADD and wanna switch out.

no idea on the year of the tcase, i am gonna go dig in the pile and see what spile they are.
